In Collaboration with Non state Actors, Mandera County Government department of Women empowerment and Affirmative Action conducted a one day workshop in Mandera town and undertook a procession to sensitize on Zero Tolerance to Female genitalia mutilation(FGM) so as to mark International day of zero tolerance for FGM. The theme was NO END TO FGM without sustained commitment and investment. COSDRA also took part in the program of the day and emphasized on sensitizing the importance of preventing FGM within the pastoralists community and at a global level.
